can cameras and door access run on our existing network?
If it's healthy, yes — they're PoE devices on their own VLAN. If the network isn't up to it, we'll tell you honestly and fix that first, because cameras on a struggling network disappoint everyone.
does the footage go to the cloud?
It stays on your own UniFi recorder on-site by default — no monthly per-camera cloud fees. Remote viewing still works from anywhere through the app.
can our phones keep their numbers?
Yes — numbers port across to Teams SIP or Avaya. There's a scheduled cutover and the old system stays alive until the new one answers.
